The Art and Business of Makeup
A 3 day workshop with certification, designed for beginner to advance skill level artists that are looking to take their artistry and career to the next level.
Workshop Fee: 1,500.00
This workshop is customized to your current skill level. We meet you where you are based on your needs. We will focus on both the art and business of makeup, an often overlooked and highly important aspect of having a successful career in the in-demand makeup world of fashion, commercial, television and bridal.
Day 1: Focuses on the business side. You will learn important industry terminology, portfolio building and affordable kit building. You will also learn how to build and maintain relationships that will lead to you securing desirable jobs along with much more!
Day 2: You will learn makeup skills and application based on your current skill level and needs. This will include achieving the perfect brow shape, color theory and current trends to name a few.
Day 3: This will be your time to shine! A fun and professional photo shoot will be organized, complete with models and professional photographers. You will be guided on how to produce a successful test shoot from beginning to end. You will perform two looks for the shoot and will be provided a copy of the images for your portfolio.

November 10,11 & 12. 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
January 12, 13 & 14. 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Additional terms and information: Breakfast will be catered each day and we will break for a 30 minute lunch at 12:00. Dates are subject to change due to enrollment numbers not meeting minimum requirements. If workshops are rescheduled due to this reason, you will be notified at least two weeks prior and will have the option to attend the next scheduled workshop or receive a full refund of your deposit. If you choose to cancel for any reason, you will not receive a refund of your deposit but will have the option to apply it to a future workshop. Reserving your seat in class will require a 50% deposit with the final balance being due on or before the beginning of the first day of your scheduled workshop.
